Sergio Lucas Hernáez graduated in Industrial Engineering at  the School of Engineering of Bilbao (University of the Basque Country/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea, UPV/EHU) in 2018. In his last year of the degree, he won a national award due to his degree thesis. In 2020 he finished his Master's studies in Industrial Engineering at the same university. During the master degree he has specialized in Control Engineering and Automation. He is currently doing his PhD in the Doctorate program in Control, Automation and Robotics Engineering at the UPV/EHU, which he conducts in the Department of Systems and Automation Engineering at the School of Engineering of Bilbao. His research interest focuses on the field of Machine Learning techniques and anomaly detection.
